Dave Frost
Hi Folks, this maybe a stupid question and not an ORBX issue, but I did a flight plan NZDN to NZCH via the Active Sky 2012 Flight planning menu. I loaded FSX and then loaded the flightplan via the FSX 'Flight Planning' screen which was fine (I requested Gate 1 at NZDN) and then I clicked 'OK' when it asked me if I wanted to start at the nominated airport at which point it loaded me onto a paddock about 1 mile from the airport terminal. You guys haven't 'moved' Dunedin have you by any chance? Thanks & Regards Dave
Tim Harris
Hi Dave, No NZDN Dunedin has not been moved.. why would we do that LOL? I did a quick test, and filed a flight plan from Gate1 @NZDN to NZCH, and started at the right gate (see Gate1_NZDN.jpg), Also compared NZDN vs Google earth by putting a placemark in GE on the Hold-Short and then copy-pasting the coords into the 'Map' feature in FSX, and it is spot on to the millimeter (see NZDN_vs_GE.jpg) Maybe something up with AS2012 flightplanner?, I cant pass any judgement though as I do not have AS2012 on my system, only REX2 with which I do not use anything except the textures Hope that helps Cheers Tim
