This pc will use XP and will be solely for FS Shane Download the latest drivers and firmware so there ready to be used and have them on a DVD or flash drive. Enter the Bios and disable any of the following that will not be used to free up Interrupt Requests IRQ's and make boot times faster. Serial Port1 (COM1) Serial Port2 (COM2) Parallel Port (LPT1) Game Port Midi Port Unused IDE Channels Unused SATA Channels Raid Options If your using XP the following order and don't go out of order because to get best performance you don't want to double up on Interrupt Requests IRQ's if you can help it. Service Packs DirectX Driver Signing & Windows Update Motherboard Drivers Graphics Drivers Sound Drivers Peripheral Drivers Firewall, Windows Update & .NET Install your programs starting with security followed buy your normal apps. Then install FSX and phone or go online to activate the product. SP2 or if you have Acceleration install that and again activate. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
