Derek McAllan
Great shots Tim. That second shot is just jawdroppingly good. Seeing those central Aussie rock ridges in high contrast like that is exactly what sprang into my mind when I first saw Gizmo's work over on the Playhorizon forums. Cheers mate, Derek
Tim Harris
Thanks for the kind comments! Shots are taken at about 1 hour short of dusk, at Gooses bluff which is about 95nm west of Alice Springs.... roughly: -23.885187° 132.175573°

Heiko Glatthorn
Yeah, i thought that must be near Alice Springs . Looking awesome ! Time to play with the presets... hehe
Tim Harris
Heiko, when you finished playing with presets let me know which one gives the darkest shadows plz
Heiko Glatthorn
Roger that. So far i've only tried default and darker default. It gets to a point though where object parts in the shadow and (most important) the dashboard are getting pretty black. That's the main reason why i disarmed the ENB darkening. I need to have a closer look - it looks like it is possible to use different setups for terrain and objects ? (can't check it right now)
Tim Harris
The ENB supplied with Shade made everything blurry/fuzzy/smooth Did some modding of mine and have come up with an effect I'm happy with, as it really only affects the horizon (might still be a little dark though, not looked at that part yet) enbseries.zip

Heiko Glatthorn
Just a thought - in the GUI you can see the color values. It should allow to point out the darkest shadow easily. To be honest, it's quite difficult to judge it with the butt-meter .
