Tailgunner
An exact replica of my all-time favourite aircraft, the French Fournier RF4 motor glider I shared long ago, flying from Enstone airfield near Oxford. Great fun: aerobatic, 90kt cruise, VW 1200cc engine, four-hour range at 2 gph. With prop stopped, the RF4 has a glide ratio of 20/1 - roughly half that of a modern pure sailplane, but still enough to make good use of thermals [and with engine on, motor back to base when they begin to fade!] This freebie Fournier RF4, in various liveries, can be found at Simviation. Griphos
I don't have this little bird, so thanks for the heads up. If motorgliding intrigues you, I can highly recommend Aerosoft's new Dimona. It has some incredible prop physics and is incredibly well-modeled.
