chumley
I have had this application working in FSX since buying in October 2010. Had to reinstall FSX about a monthg ago and have since occupied much of my time reinstalling all manner of sceneries etc and today finally got around to FS passengers. When I load it I get the indication all is well until I fire up FSX. FSX starts to load then halts at the splash screen and simply hangs. I unloaded FSPX and then reloaded using Admin settings. same outcome. Has anbybody else experienced this and if so what is the workaround? I have been to the FSPX forums and there is no solution evident. Thanks Andy b
Edward Boyte
Maybe the logbook is corrupted. (I think) Delete Logbook.BIN in the Flight Simulator X Files folder. FSX should start up properly.
ClemCookie
If that fails, you can use FSX Repair using Disc 1. This only replaces the original files and no addon files. Then just add SP1 and SP2 and then you are done!
Paul J
Repair your logbook - don't delete it!!! Go to the Avsim library and search for fsxlogrecovery11.zip, d/l it, unpack it, then put FSXLog.exe in with your logbook.BIN. Then run it. It will backup your logbook, analyse it and then repair it. chumley
Probably didn't explain myself too well. FSX works OK after I uninstall FSPX save a message to say FSUIPC is having problems in the load immediately after the uninstall. The FSUIPC problem doesn't raise its head in subsequent loads. The problem is getting FSPX to run. Thanks Anfy b
