specialist
I've just added the latest update patch, and now when I'm trying to fly near and around Seattle, I'm constantly crashing to desktop. Didn't have this problem before, not sure why I'm having it now.
specialist
Just to clarify a little more, the CTD happens as I'm approaching Seattle, but not when I start my flight in Seattle.
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, please tell us more about the crash, specifically the faulting module as reported in the Windows Event Viewer. In the Windows Start menu search box type "Event Viewer" and click on the name found. In the viewer's left side panel, expand Windows Logs > Applications. Search the list by Level or scroll down until you find the latest red "Error" entry of your crashes. When clicking on an error entry the General tab below the list will give you the faulting application (should be fsx.exe) and the faulting module, which is what we're interested in. It might be helpful to scroll back to a few of those crashes to check whether the module was the same in all cases. Cheers, Holger
ryanbatc
I realize this is an older thread but I've been getting hammered with CTD's (all g3d) when flying PNW with the latest patch #4. I used to have none... I'm having a hard time reproducing them but the majority are in SEA and PDX. My info: Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14 Faulting module name: g3d.dll, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb58 Exception code: 0xc0000005 Fault offset: 0x000ba79f Faulting process id: 0x680 Faulting application start time: 0x01cc5d2c4caa0bf2 Faulting application path: B:\Flight Simulator X\fsx.exe Faulting module path: B:\Flight Simulator X\g3d.dll Report Id: 687f79d2-c942-11e0-8027-1c6f65c15b81
