Jamesb1967 Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Yes I'm not so smart and I failed to turn off the FTX Mode when installing FTX Gold having previously installed FTX Blue ! I have flown a bit since and not seen any texture issues ( yet !) Will my oversight affect general FSX performance ? John Venema Posted August 4, 2008 Share Posted August 4, 2008 Not sure where you got the information from that you need to turn FTX Mode [OFF] to install AU GOLD. Since GOLD was released there has not been the need to use FTX before/after installation since I added that process to the installer. So breathe easy, nothing is damaged and just enjoy FTX!
