Butch
Gents, Its another weekend and couple of new releases and an update from the AussieX paint team... First up is the RFDS scheme that I promised John I would try, there are two versions the very dirty version that looks like its been to many muddy dirt strips, for the retentive people like me who wash their cars every weekend there is also a just serviced version. This one's for you John! I have tried to knock the shine off this thing, but the model itself (I believe) has its own shine so the gloss has been minimised but not eliminated. One more... This next one is a take on the much delayed Wedgetail for RAAF no2 squadron, as I understand it they have trained staff that will miss the release to operation of the Wedgetail because of delays to the program. So they (RAAF) are training a new cadre of pilots, systems operator, maintenance staff etc for the eventual deployment. This paint can be considered as border patrol, guarding fisheries and protected areas such as the Southern Ocean and the seas north and north west of Australia. Never fear, the AussieX team is protecting your virtual lives with this stand in... I have also updated the RAAF VIP sled, I have darkened the colour of the roo in the roundel and added paint to the inside portion of the rear fins. I must say, this paint has become my personal favorite bar none. Its simple but very elegant and I think the next version of this will cater to our cousins across the Tasman. (they need to get around too!) These paints will be available only at AussieX site soon, Jaykae is little busy with a few other things at the moment. If you guys check in tomorrow they may already be on line... (Jay never sleeps) heheheh... I still have the Auspost and Qantas Regional to post, they are pretty much ready save for a couple of details. I think those will become available sometime in the following week. I hope you guys enjoy these as much as I have making them. Please check the AussieX Repaint Corner for availability. Cheers, Butch
