ikbenik Posted May 30, 2011 Share Posted May 30, 2011 The historic Douglas C-47(about equal to DC-3) was in service for transporting US-Troups throughout the US with little comfort(lateral seats in the fuselage). After 70 years in good conserved shape, she travels around visiting several airports as display for enthousiast visitors of historic planes. It was very difficult to land this pretty big plane in 3W5 and succeeded only after a second try(no luck to Rwy29 but with success via Rwy07): Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
