cyberpilot
Some help please guys... For some inexplicable reason I'm having control issues in FSX that affect all my aircraft no matter where I fly in FTX with them. It's an intermittent problem that occurs without warning in any phase of flight. It's like wake turbulence except there are no other aircraft for miles around. The aircraft will suddenly roll and pitch for a few seconds before returning to normal flight. The helicopters are the worst and invariably go completely out of control. I've tried recalibrating my Saitek X52 flight controls as well as the Saitek rudder pedals but the problem still persists. I haven't been loading any weather or winds ... I've been flying in dead calm conditions. Any suggestions?
Derek McAllan
It's not a control problem. This happens when your aircraft moves from one FSX weather "zone" to another. FSUIPC (maybe even the unregistered version) has some options to help smooth out the turbulence encountered at zone boundaries, I'm sure there's other addons that do too. Cheers, Derek
