Had a great time at Sun 'n Fun. It was nice to see alot of the planes that heretofore I had only seen up close in FSX. According to the announcer at the airshow- they set a new record for attendance.

Rwy 5/23 was used for larger static displays on one end and active military jets at the other.

Here is a pair of F-22 (one did a short demo interrupted by some sort of fault) and a Super Hornet decked out in World War II colors for the Centennial of Naval Aviation.

A beautiful F4U-4 in the warbirds section.

The R-2800 in the Corsair was immaculate and beautiful in it's own right. :)

Check out the new panel option for the Tecnam Sierra! Pricing not yet finalized!

The Lancair tent. They were pushing the Evolution and downplaying the IV-P saying the IV-P has given them a bad rap because of its flying difficulty and insurance costs. The reps said they were looking at discontinuing the IV/IV-P because of that. At least I don't worry about crashes or insurance in FSX. :) I was surprised the Vs sub0 for the Evolution is only 61 kts and stalls forward.

This is a IV-P in the homebuilt section (it's for sale)- note the Regnum ending in "4P".

I was in Deland, FL this week working on a commercial simulator, but on the Thursday the guys I was with were getting pics from Sun and fun after the bad weather came through of flipped over planes etc.  I was wondering how the rest of the show would go.

The rest of the show went great. The oganizers had to work overtime on the parking- and even afterwards, there was a lot of mud- but, they got the place cleaned up and except for one wrecked plane that I saw, you would not know that a tornado damaged or destroyed 40-50 planes 2 days earlier.
