A real sense of Altitude

I know I keep going on about it, but sometimes I just cant help myself!...

Open Clouds continues to amaze me on 'Every Level'... and that's what it's all about... correct annotation of cloud levels and different types of clouds.. It really comes into its own, especially flying at cruise altitude.

Here, Im cruising at 33'000, high about the Rockies. Just love the bloom and haze on that horizon!

Leaning over the window, you get a real sense of altitude

And looking at that patch of cloud, really looks along way down as it would in the real world

And this one!....say no more!

Looks ok dunnit  :)    ..but Ive decided not to run it and just use REX . Too many apps and I do seem to get into trouble every now and then. Keeping it simple . I think their up coming Simair might be something good  and the I find the weather  depiction good .  :)

Outstanding shots.

For me Open Clouds caused nothing but strife, giving lockups and CTD.

A knowledgeable user might have been able to resolve the obvious conflict with another app, but I was unable to do so.

I use XGraphics only although I do have REX installed.

REAL Beauties John  :o - What a great view here! And besides that great view and the fantastic cloudlayers i also really enjoyed the 3rd shot here - because  for a non Track-IR simmer (at least not yet ;)) this perspective is just: WOW!!!!!
