Jezz006
Greetings, I'm installing my FTX software on my new Windows 7 64bit machine and am now getting the following message when I try to open FTX Central. Unhandled exception has occured in your application. K:\FSX\ORBX\Scripts\FTXCentral\Work\Images\btnPDF_Off.png Originally FTX Central was working OK but after today installing SP4 patch for Australia, the Lancair IV-P and doing a internet software upgrade for Adobe Acrobat it stopped loading. I went to the above folder but there was no btnPDF_Off.png in there. Any suggestions as to what is causing this? Yours in Appreciation, J
Tim Harris
Hi Jezz, Did you also install the little SP4.001 patch? http://fullterrain.com/support.html
Jezz006
Hi Tim, I saw that patch after I'd posted, so installed it but when the FTX Central tried to load the same exception occured and it just hung when I tried to skip the problem with a continue loading option. The FTX Central version that appears is 1.0 Build 1024 from October 2010 if that is any help. I have my FSX on a seperate hardrive but the FTX installers had no problems picking that up. Jezz006
I noticed that Bruce Hamilton posted that FTX Pacific NorthWest used a newer version of FTX Central, so I installed the scenery software and lo and behold FTX Central now works properly and recognizes my previous installations of FTX Australia and the Lancair IV-P. The offending file K:\FSX\ORBX\Scripts\FTXCentral\Work\Images\btnPDF_Off.png is now back happily in the folder
