Guest Muaddib
Checking out the area around Emerald. I also flew along the Capricorn Highway to Barcaldine. Sorry, but that was a little boring.
Ken Hall
not wrong about the boring, I did it in an ulralight about 15 yrs ago, top speed 60 knts, although we had some pretty lively thermals bouncing us around, but you can't feel em in a sim. Great colours though, cheers
Braedon King
If you fly in the Qantaslink Dash 8 from BNE to Emerald via Blackwater it doesn't gain much altitude between Blackwater and Emerald and it cops a punding from the thermals. I don't get air-sick, but I was feeling a bit queezy for the 20 odd minutes it took to fly the 70kms to Emerald at 2000ft. And yes, there's not much of interest out the window... cheers Bungo
