pphibbs
Our next Tassie Tigers event sees us taking off from Cambridge and tracking to the south west via Tasman Bridge. We then track to Droughty Point and onto Bruny Is for a touch and go. Once airborne we continue south to South East Cape and then turn west, following the coast to Cox Bright where we head northly to Bathurst Harbour airfield for a full stop landing. We will require the following ATC for the event: + Melbourne Centre + Hobart Tower The event will be held at the following times: Friday 11th June at 8:00pm EST/10:00z Sunday 13th Jun at 3:00pm EST/5:00z If you are interested in joining in and don't receive the InfoKits for the flights, please send an email to groupflights@virtualVFR.com. We get a look at some of the untouched wilderness of the South West National Park area of Tasmania. squeeker
Sounds like a fun flight. The ORBX freeware manual lists a caution for "hills, trees and wildlife hazards" for the Bruny Island airstrip!
pphibbs
Yeah, sorry guys. The event is for July, not June as indicated above. In too much of a hurry. Regards, Paul
