Greg Jones
Hi, I've just done a complete system rebuild and installed FSX SP2, FTX AU SP3 DVD then SP4. When the SP4 insaller finishes FTX Central starts but I get the messahe "Old FTXConfigurator.exe detected". As suggested I've tried to find an update but I would've thought that this would have been part of the SP4 install. I've just installed the latest ORBXLIBS but I now get an unhandled exception error when starting FTX Central. Where have I gone wrong. Reluctantly running Vista! John Venema
Hmm, curious. Try copying this attached ftxconfigurator.exe to your ORBX\Scripts folder, rebooting and running FTXCentral again please. FTXConfigurator.zip
Greg Jones
Thanks John, I'll have a go at that shortly. I've also just realised that in my haste to FSX back up and running I didn't let Vista finish all it's updates. Could it be related .NET not being up to date or similar? I'll soon know anyway. Thanks again, Greg
Greg Jones
Same deal unfortunately. The file didn't help the situation. I started over with a fresh install from the FTXAU DVD then applied SP4 and the libraries. I can the same unhandled exception error. I noticed someone else is getting the same error so I'll add my problems to that topic. Cheers for your help, Greg
