Tigerclaw
I'm liking these shots too. I've jumped into my Cera just recently, and I had forgotten how great she was to fly. She is without a doubt my second favourite heli in my hanger. I've taken some wicked cockpit shots, but can't show them here (Papua New Guinea, not ORBX. Shame they never did that). I like the last shot best, purely because it's inside the VC. Very nice. Liking these heli shots, just wish I could land these things! It takes lots of practice, and a good helicopter. Not the default rubbish, can't learn a thing from those I'm afraid. First learn to hover steadily, then landing is easy.
John Lovell
Great, may get myself a good Heli and give it a try again, thanks!
Tailgunner
IMHO the default Bell is far and away the easiest to hover and land, and there's nothing wrong with that.
Waco
Thanks for the comments guys. I'm finding with my aging machine that helicopters allow me to enjoy the work of Orbx even more; hover and drink it all in. Cera and the Dodo are my favorites. Can't say my landings are the best; more of a controlled crash but getting better. And as you all know, it seems you just can't take a bad screenshot with FTX scenery.
