rjbrown7 Posted June 24, 2008 Share Posted June 24, 2008 Since the DIVX site Stage 6 closed down there has been a void in High Quality streaming video. Most sites such as Vimeo and You Tube do not come close to the quality provided by DIVX code and the streaming capabilities of Stage 6, but now there may be a suitable replacement. Here are two links that demonstrate the quality that might be of interest here. rjbrown7 Posted June 24, 2008 Author Share Posted June 24, 2008 Well I admit the buffering time is longer than the original stage 6 but I think as they improve there servers as noted in there forum buffering time will reduce. Having said that it only took about 5 minutes to buffer the Australia piece and you can begin playback at anytime. You may catch up with the buffer and have to wait but you can at least see the quality or subject without having to wait the entire download process.
