keeszondag
Hi, I recently made "the jump" and got my first ORBX scenery; PNW. I've been "hopping around" Seattle for a couple of days now and I am amazed by the things I see!! I'm all back to manual flying and leaving the big iron on the ground for awhile! Some shots I made today in gorgious light and weather; the scenery looks wonderfull and ORBX and REX really do go along wonderfully (even on my system ) [img width=1160 height=668]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/7512011_1_4_10_43_9_194.jpg [img width=1160 height=667]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/3782011_1_4_11_5_40_403.jpg [img width=1160 height=667]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/4732011_1_4_11_19_39_164.jpg [img width=1160 height=668]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/1742011_1_4_11_20_1_426.jpg [img width=1160 height=668]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/1592011_1_4_11_25_41_942.jpg [img width=1160 height=666]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/8742011_1_4_11_21_27_215.jpg [img width=1160 height=667]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/8482011_1_4_11_24_55_739.jpg

rockliffe
Hey nice pics matey. I see you're flying the Grand Caravan... just bought it myself, what a fab bird Hey, if you've just got into PNW you will have some fabulous flying in the coming weeks. If you want a little gem of a flight, one of my faves, try flying east out of Scar creek CBA7 towards Tsuniah lake CAF4 at about 500' AGL. That is just an awesome trip. Have a good one

rockliffe
Hey Kees, quick question... how do you get the map view in the GPS display (as shown in your pic) I can't seem to find it anywhere
Derek McAllan
Howard, below the CLR button is a label, I think it says "Default Nav" or some such. Click on the text to change the display. I'll verify and take a pic for you soon... Derek

rockliffe
Hi Kees, many thanks, I found it eventually. I was hitting the default GPS button as described, but then it would bring up an info display, what I failed to do was to hit the button again, I went onto another switch. Of course the button needs to be clicked twice to get to the map! Thanks for all your help
