Fasten your seat belt. This is the first in a two part series taking in the sights of Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef. Well done to the Jarred on making some stunning scenery. I hope you enjoy this. Episode two will follow shortly.

Cheers

Steve

What a really nice video, very smooth, clear and great quality. Shows off Cairns very well.

But I do agree with bruce, I wanted to watch the video to care too much about the website at that moment. At the end would be more beneficial.... just small constructive criticism... other than that... very well done, thanks for making this and sharing!

Thanks for the comments. I don't think that the website plugs really detract from the viewing experience all that much. Please remember that I have uploaded these videos to my youtube channel where they receive 1000's of views and the website advertisements are just to publicise my blog to these viewers. If I didn't add these advertisements I simply wouldn't get much traffic as youtube is my primary source of traffic. My blog also primarily advertises Orbx far more than any other scenery producer so I don't think I'm being too cheeky advertising my blog in my video which is basically an advert for Orbx.

I do realise though that seeing commercialism on top of an atmospheric video can be irritating. I will take these points into consideration as I realise that commercialism can detract from the viewing experience. It's a fine balance, I agree, but I am just one man and mean no harm in sticking a few links into my hours and hours of hard work making these videos.
