YMLT - Grass Taxiways?

Heya folks.

I have just installed the Tasmania demo. Firstly, may I say how wonderful it looks! I can't wait to make some videos with it!

However, before I can do that, I need to fix a problem. My main airport taxiways at Launceston are grass, when they should be concrete. They still have the markings on but have a yellowy grass base. Help?!  :-\

Many thanks,

Alfie

Sounds as though the main ground poly is missing. Can I suggest you download the latest version of Launceston, it's on the Orbx Freeware page here, http://myftx.com/FTX_AU_BLUE/FTXAUYMLT_250_SP3.zip

You should also download and install the latest Orbx Library from the Support page. http://myftx.com/FTX_AU_BLUE/FTXORBXLIBS_100921.zip This will enable you to see all the items we have added such as 3D grass and improved ground markings.

Let us know if this fixes your problem.

Thanks - I have done that, will now test it out!

That's the photo real concrete you're seeing there. You must have the addon grass texture file installed, I can't recall who released that one, perhaps REX. It looks good over grass surfaces but cannot differentiate the various surfaces in the sim so will create that appearance over everything. You can either remove it or live with it. I chose to remove mine after a while.
