Off to the Creek

An early departure from Darrington, this flight will be a 100 mile picturesque trek over the Mt Baker Forest National Park.

Just just incase any bad weather comes in, I dont wanna be caught out in those peaks, so ill take the Cessna equipt with skis for this one... you never know!

Departing Darrington from the East, its a shap turn right following the Valley South

Following the river and the Mountain Loop highway on the right

We need to climb abit as we near Mt Baker... weather on our side today but still good job I got the skis!

Passing Keechelas lake and the Wenatchee National Forrest, we will start to decend

Through the Valley and to the left is the Chinnock Pass Highway 410

And a very difficult approach this one is as the airstrip is hidden amongst the trees! Must skim the trees and be ready to land any moment.. would never be able to do this in low visibilty
