ross1562 Posted May 29, 2008 Share Posted May 29, 2008 I was just wondering a couple of questions about Mesh: I have Holgermesh installed but i think i have actually just got too used to it as i now feel that it doesn't look the same as when i first installed it. Is there a way of uninstalling it so i can see the difference it makes? I have my Mesh resolution set at 76m as i think this is advised. Will lowering this setting to 32m or 19m make any difference or improve it? Also, i have seen another mesh advertised which i think is 20m but is payware. Will this be any better? I also have XGraphics installed, will this be effecting it? I think this is probably me just being paranoid but today i flew over tasmania and it just didn't look as good as normal! Wolter van der Spoel Posted May 29, 2008 Share Posted May 29, 2008 All mesh files are based on the same basic data the difference depends on the proggy used to interpolate the base data, Holger's mesh imho is best one available try setting the mesh resolution to 10m and the texture resolution to 15cm and see what that does for you as a test Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
