Hi

I am trying to choose a new monitor mainly for MSFS.

It seems that the one below is not good because variable refresh rate goes from 48 to 144 Hz. Concerning that with MSFS we get a range of 25-30 to 50 fps, I will have problems with tearing, stutters and so on. Is it true? It seems the best would be 0 - 144 Hz. Someone wrote that it would be better to have fixed 60 Hz, but I use monitor for other things and not only MSFS. I would like to know something about this issue.

Thanks.

Hi harpsi. I have been in this situation as well a couple of years ago and and good old Nick Cooper put me onto the AOC brand.  They are great and quite cheap for the price. I ended up buying a 28” 2K one and it’s fantastic. Plus they do a 4K one now. I’ve had mine at least a couple of years now and never had any trouble with it. Hope this helps. Thanks Derek.
