benjamin Kupfer
Please see attached images. This is Orbx Global base pack. The area is Israel, Central, in the vicinity of LLBG. There are large areas with no textures (Looks like desert, but it's not in reality). The Platform is P3dv5. Any idea how do we fix it? Thanks Benny
Nick Cooper
Hello Benny, welcome to the forums. I think this may be default P3D v5. Global Base replaces the textures but it does not decide which ones are displayed where. I don't think that the textures are missing, rather that desert textures are being displayed. This is how it looks with no addons at all. Here is the same view with a landclass product from FSX, which as you can see, rearranges the textures. In both shots there is nothing at all from Orbx. benjamin Kupfer
Nick. Thanks you for the reply. How can this happen - "Global Base replaces the textures but it does not decide which ones are displayed where"? If the textures were replaced (during installation, I guess), then there are no P3d default textures, as those were replaced. This part does not make sense, unless I miss something. Are you aware of any fix to that? Thank you Benny
Nick Cooper
Hello Benny, Global Base replaces the default textures but landclass files control which textures should be displayed. To see the correct textures in the correct places would require another landclass product, as I tried to show you in the two images above. At the moment, Orbx do not have one that covers this exact area.
