Artur S. Posted October 24, 2020 Share Posted October 24, 2020 Hello All! Some time ago I changed my PC with Win7 P3Dv4.4 to a new one with Win10/64 Prof P3Dv4.5. Unfortunately, after installing LGKO I started again suffering with "the black fence" issue: What I already did: 1. I uninstalled and installed scenery twice, but always got the same warning: 2. I verified files with positive result, but the black fence issue has not been fixed; 3. I found topic "LGKO Kos HOTFIX for P3Dv5HF1 - Update 1.2.2" with attached "dds" file, but it doesn't work for me. Maybe because it is dedicated for P3D v5 only, not v4.5. 4. As Nick suggested in the same topic I ran "Orbx Central\Settings\Help\Sync Simulator", but this didn't help. Having P3D v4.4. I already reported the same problem a few months ago in this topic: ...but I don't know why it's not available for me: Do you know why? AFAIR there can be "KOS_FENCE.dds" for P3D v4.5 that solved my issue in the past. Can you take a look and help me to solve this annoying problem, please? My order ID: 5e8a47c0b6fe5. Nick Cooper Posted October 24, 2020 Share Posted October 24, 2020 If you are sent back here, or in any case, to fix the four missing files, first go to the Orbx Central "Downloader" page. Click on Clear for your temporary folder and if you made a backup, move the files temporarily out of their folder. Then run verify files for the Gaya product and see if the installation completes. I did as you suggested but four times, because during the first attempt the 3 files were missing, but then two times only 1 file. Only the last attempt was without any issue with missing files, but unfortunately, the fence remains black... So, I'm going to open TT to Gaya support. Once again thanks for your help Nick.
