Amon
Hi, Trying to install, but keep getting the following Error message: "You don't have enough free disk space to complete the installation". I have two hard drive on my machine, X-plane is installed on drive D, where I have 405 GB free space. On C, I have only 44 GB available. I'm trying to install the scenery in the X-plane library. Appreciate your help! Amon
Jon Clarke
Hello and welcome. There are two aspects to the installation of addons the size of a True earth one. The first is that it is downloaded and extracted to the drive that holds your Temp folder. By default if you are on Windows then that location is your C drive. You do not have enough room on your C drive to accommodate the size of the download plus extraction, which will double the size of the download. You need to create a new Temp folder on your D drive and then via Orbx Central, edit the path to the new Temp folder. How to do that is part of the advice in the link on how to install True Earth addons which I give below. If you have further trouble then return here and I will assist where i can.
