Gday,

Finding the runway lights are turning off to soon in the morning and on to late in evening meaning there is a significant time where the runway ie quite black with no lighting. The airport terminal lights are on its just the runway lights which are not on.

If possible they need to be left on longer in the morning and earlier at night or even better leave them on ALLDAY so when weather occurs you have a chance of getting in.

Without HIALS operating in poor vis its virtually impossible to successfully get in.

Hi Nick im not talking about at sunset but sunbrise.

The lights are off "in the monring"!

So the lights are turning off before its light enough to see the morning to see the runway..

and be allowed to overwrite.
