I am considered moving from P3D v4.5 to v5. If I have sufficient space to keep both versions on my SSD drive, will I have to re-install all of my Orbx products into V5 or can they be migrated through Orbx Central? If I had to uninstall v4.5 would I also have to uninstall then re-install all of my Orbx products into v5? Thank you. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Nick Cooper Posted July 11, 2020 Share Posted July 11, 2020 Hello, you cannot migrate products from one simulator version to another. You can edit the add-ons.cfg file to allow P3D v5 to see the file library for P3D v4 but of course you must have installed all your products into an Orbx Central Library. As P3D v5 develops, it is becoming clear that not all products for P3D v4 work as intended in P3D v5, especially airports, so the best way forward is to make a new and separate library for P3D v5.
