Les Lewis
Quote I have purchased all of True Earth GB, and find them OK but I fly helicopters and use Lasham EGHL Airport very often, but find it is not truely representative. When flying into Lasham EGHL there are no buildings, no aircraft which can be clearly seen on Google Earth. This is a glider club but has full tube liners going in there for maintenance. I was contemplating using Ortho4XP to enhance the airport but I am concerned that this will have an adverse effect on TEGB South. Some advise would be appreciated. Jon Clarke
The TEGB and all TE series addons do not include any airports. They are all Laminar default Gateway airports. I can check that you have your scenery_packs.ini correctly layered if you want me to. Your best bet is to use this link and download EGHL as a 3rd party addon and it will be at the top of your scenery_packs.ini and therefore should display your missing buildings. https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/24542-lasham-airfield-eghl/ or try this one which is a Jan2020 update at the Gateway site which will also become a 3rd party addon at the top of your scenery_packs.ini: https://gateway.x-plane.com/scenery/page/EGHL
Les Lewis
Thank you so much for coming back to me. I have followed your advise and installed the lasham airport which is so much better now and more realistic. Better than re-inventing the wheel. Thanks again for your response.
