Upgrading my computor

Hi Guys

I was thing of upgrading my computor and this is what i have at the moment. what can you recommend .I  only play fsx

Int Duo core e8500 3.16gzh 1333mhz

Gigabyte GA-EP45 DS3 P45 D2 PCLE S2 1394 MOB

Kingston 4GB 2X2 gb DDR2 800 pc 6400 dual channel kit

Asus GF9800GTX  512MB DDR3 HDMI video card

corsair 620 watt p/s

xp home edition single [ OEM ]

I would also like to know what is the best to buy in the mid to upper range cost wise.. as I am looking to update.. so motherboard, HD, CPU and video card.. I know I should be able to find benchmarks for all this stuff, but it is all gobbledygook to me.. my tech knowledge is almost down to zero, the older I get, so how about helping an old guy put a good FSX system together please. Teecee.

My only suggestion would be to work in a quad core CPU.

Good bang-for-buck mid range system (yes I said mid-range!)

CPU: i7 930

MB: X58 Gigabyte or ASUS P6T

RAM: 6GB DDR3 1600mhz

GPU: GTX285

HD: at least a 150gb VelociRaptor for FSX, anything for the OS

Case: CM690

OS: Windows 7 64bit

Any good PC shop will happily assemble something like the above, my local shop will do it for $100 and burn-test it for 24 hours

Have a look at all the ORBX dev systems found below our sigs, most of us are using these type of systems (some more equal than others)

Need any additional advice don't hesitate to ask

The CM690 is a cracking case for about $100

Decent Brand PSU ... slightly overspec.
