homayoon Posted July 2, 2020 Share Posted July 2, 2020 Hi guys Recently Orbx requests to close P3D and erase several files as DAT format. These requests appear when loading the scenery of a chosen airport. Why does not Orbx fix them? There are many files requested to be deleted. Nick Cooper Posted July 2, 2020 Share Posted July 2, 2020 Hello, these errors only occur if the user elects to delete scenery files while the simulator is running. They are not indicative of an error in any scenery, just that there has been user intervention. You can delete all of the scenery .dat files by deleting C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SceneryIndexes_x64. P3D will rebuild the index the next time it is started.
