London. But c.1700 AD :)

Recommended Posts

Hello all,

I have P3D looking as I want it now, but I have an oddity (apart from Windsor Castle floating in mid air) that I wanted to ask about. London is in the right place (always a good start), but look in Heathrow Tower View in the second shot. Buildings of interest, er but no London per se.

I have Orbx Global and LC Europe loaded, together with Mega Heathrow.

I will prob get England or True Earth GB South (I have all for X-Plane), but do I really need to get even higher res to see a major city depicted?

Cheers

Hello,

it looks like a limited radius for autogen, combined with a massively zoomed in viewpoint.

Hi Nick,

I haven't really zoomed anything that's just the tower view from the centre of Heathrow to the far stands. How can I test the autogen radius?

It's not a competition.

Try, if it will, zooming the tower view out.

What is happening is that the high zoom level is focussing on the point at which the autogen stops.

There will always be such a point, it's the way that the simulator works.

You will find sliders on the Options\World page in P3D itself that change where this limit is.
