Laurin
Hi, does it make sense to disable/auto-configure AEC with HF2 or higher? From my understanding AECs are active by default to match airport elevation to an accurate mesh (in my case FS Global 2010) but can be disabled when the elevation conflicts with specific airports (e.g. Orbx regions, airports or 3rd party addons). But with HF2 the the elevation is always taken from the scenery with the higher priority, and as addon airport sceneries are above the AEC scenery the elevation from the AEC should not be used regardless of active or inactive, right? So when I leave all AECs enabled and not run the correction tool, there should be two cases: 1. There is no addon airport -> AEC scenery is higher than stock scenery and elevation of AEC is used, as it should. 2. There is an addon airport -> The addon scenery is higher than both stock and AEC scenery so the elevation of the addon is used, as it should. So disabling/enabling AEC in the Vector configuration should make no difference with HF2/3 or am I missing something?
