Marchy
Operating system: Win 10 Simulator: XP11 Issue; I've got TrueEarth GB installed, running on a i9-9900k OC'd to 5.0ghz, 2080ti, 32gb 3200mhz. I've recently reinstalled Windows in an attempt to resolve the issue. Before I installed TrueEarth, I put the sim through multiple stress tests to make sure when I loaded up, it wasn't causing an issue. Once TrueEarth was installed, sometimes whenever I try to load the sim, or if I'm just flying, randomly the PC will just bluescreen. KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE is what's displayed. If I need to direct this over to the X-Plane forums then so be it but wondering if anyone knows anything here? Thanks.
Nick Cooper
Hello, this is far more likely to be a problem with Windows or maybe hardware. This is what the internet has to say: Quote Affiliate Disclosure. The meaning of the stop code Kernel Security Check Failure is that one or several files failed a compatibility or integrity check and you have to update or replace it. The most common reason for this are outdated drivers when you upgraded to a new Windows version.30 Apr 2020
Marchy
Hi @Nick Cooper, SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION also comes up when I load into GB. Would this also have nothing to do with TrueEarth? Thanks,
Nick Cooper
Hello, Google also points to corrupt files. Here is a link. https://helpdeskgeek.com/windows-10/how-to-fix-system-service-exception-stop-code-in-windows-10/ Otherwise, can you easily disable the overclock and see if the problem persists?
