FTX Go and YBBN settings?

Installed YBBN and am having OOM. So I'm rechecking the recommended settings carefully. I am using FTX Go and want to create a dedidcted profile. and find that some of the settings (terminology) does not match. On to the questions:

How do the following entries match to FSX counterparts? My entries:

  • recommended Water: Low 2.x --> FTX Go has [TERRAIN][WATER_EFFECTS] as a number (default=3)
  • Mesh: 2cm --> FTX Go has [TERRAIN][MESH_RESOLUTION]=23
  • Texture: 7cm --> FTX Go has [TERRAIN][TEXTURE_RESOLUTION]=28
  • FTX Go has [TERRAIN][LOD_RADIUS=3.5

Could somebody pleas post the FTX Go recommended settings in FTX Go notation for these? (specifically YBBN Mesh and Texture values)? I can't seem to find the proper entries and values, as when I see them in the sim they are not set properly from FTX Go.

Thx

I think Alex is refering to how the numbers relate to the worded settings within FSX. I'm affraid i'll have to defer this question Alex as i dont currently have GO.

Also this thread will most likely be moved to the support forums.  :)

Russ is correct (mods please move to proper place if needed). I was referring as to how the settings translate to the worded settigns in FSX and the FTX Go numbers shown in the example don;t make much sense to me.

The system is middle of the road nowadays. Vista Ultimate - Alienware 2-core AMD Athlon 3gh - 4Gb RAM - Windows Experience score: 5.4 to 5.9
