This PC has 800 GB free on C drive, so installing everything there. Attached is the error message. I have tried 'Verify files' twice, and get the same error message after the scan each time. Also please try a couple of the recommendations regarding closing and exiting Orbx central, rebooting PC, clearing Temp folder, running Verify files etc. In the meantime attach your Orbx Central log file , zip it if it is large, available in Orbx Central/settings/help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's pretty clear to me that the conversion process uses C++ code that requires the redistributables. Looking at other posts on the forum, other people seem to be hitting this. Suggest you include that in the FAQ or somewhere more prominent, to maybe save a few forum posts!. Orbx Central is so slick that it didn't even occur to me that there was extra software required. Maybe Orbx Central can do a check to see if the Visual C++ redistributables are already installed, or do it automatically. Aren't you able to package them in the installation and embed them, I'm sure other Windows installars do this. I couldn't find the 'cross-platform download' guide mentioned in the user manual btw. We already do this, but there can be some scenarios in which it appears VC++ is installed even if it isn't.
