rossgray7
Hi all, I am having problems where just after takeoff the ground textures go white for a second or two and then go back to normal. It is also worth mentioning that it only happens in the virtual cockpit. I think it might be an Orbx problem but im not sure. I have Orbx ftx global and open lc europe. If anyone knows how to fix this that would be great, thanks. There is a link to the photo here: https://imgur.com/a/5Cu7mRy
Nick Cooper
Hello, welcome to the forums. That is just what to expect when the PC is not keeping up with the demands that P3D is making of it. What are your PC specs?
rossgray7
Hi, I have a gtx 1060, intel core i7 processor, 16 gb RAM. I have found that the problem goes away when running p3d on default settings but changing anything, even something minor that puts the graphic profile into the custom bracket brings back the problem. I don't know what to do because I think my graphics card should be able to handle it considering I have run p3d smoothly on higher graphics settings. I do think however, it has something to do with Orbx open LC Europe as it seems to only happen on takeoff when leaving the airport textures and entering into the open LC textures if that makes sense. Thanks for you're help and sorry for the late reply.
rossgray7
Also it is worth mentioning that I did a complete reinstall of prepared however I changed my location to a different external hard drive if you think that could be a problem.
