Manny1119
Hello, I recently installed So Cal Orbx for X Plane and noticed large areas are not populating scenery. I have been getting large blue grids which covers a large area and it happens in random places. I also noticed that in the LA area grid, it has a large rectangular yellow colored zone. Is there anyone out there experiencing the same thing? Help appreciated. I have other True Earth sceneries like No Cal, Oregon, Washington and don't experience these issues. Jon Clarke
Test is required. Rename Custom Scenery to Custom Scenery.BAK. Make a new Custom Scenery folder.Open the .BAK file and make shortcuts for the SoCal folders and Global Airports. Place the shortcuts in the new Custom Scenery folder. Run XP and exit. Open your scenery_packs.ini and ensure that the folders are layered: TE SoCal Airports. Global Airports TE Socal Custom Overlay Orthos. Make a flight in Socal and see if the anomalies are still there. If they are, open Orbx Central and clear your Temp folder. The location and Clear option are shown in my attached pic. Reboot PC and run the Verify Files option for SoCal. If the anomalies are gone then you have a masking problem caused by one of your additional addons and you will need to add the addons back one by one to test. Clear Temp folder is ringed in pale blue.
