Fanatical_Passion
I bought the Australia V2 because I thought since new sim and fresh new look. But, my scenery is all messed up. I was eager this morning to admire what it changed but all I saw was broken landmass, black night time textures popping up. Nothing goes smooth for scenery ever... Fanatical_Passion
Hi, that's a great start. Did I need to have Global Base to run Australia V2? It didn't say there
Fanatical_Passion
According the solution there's mention of terrain.cfg in the main folder. That file dose not exist there. It looks like it has to be re-generated to apply this. *edit. Ignore this. I mistaken program data with Program files

Fanatical_Passion
Unfortunately the problem has not been solved yet, I'm still getting the blocks of dark or "artifacts" for some reason. I'll re-run the solution again. I'm using Redcliffe airport with that airport scenery at the moment, that was the test flight and I have the blocks around the shoreline and some inland close to the shoreline. Au v2 is installed in the Orbx Library but the Airport are in the P3D folder. This atttempt i will move the airports into Orbx library as well
Fanatical_Passion
I do have however an Orbx folder inside Prepar3D.
Doug Sawatzky
That's normal. Are you using P3Dv4 or v5?
Fanatical_Passion
I have P3Dv4.5 with the latest update .
Fanatical_Passion
I do think this might be the problem, despite where the airports are. I am in the process now of moving everything to the Orbx libraries now before re-doing the solutin

Doug Sawatzky
And if you have any non Orbx 3rd party addons have set the insertion point in Orbx Central? Also go to settings \help and run the sync simulator function.
Fanatical_Passion
Is this correct what I have here, what do you mean by lowest non Orbx 3rd library entry
Doug Sawatzky
It is correct if you only have Orbx installed and do not have any non Orbx 3rd party addons.
Fanatical_Passion
At the moment Orbx is the only one around here.
Fanatical_Passion
Ok I think It's almost fixed. I spawned in the middle of the outback instead of the green vegetation zone. I don't see any blocks here. Can you give me a suggestion where I should be to see if it works properly? I was looking for a location suggestion in the used documentation but it doesn't have any suggestions
