active X plane cannot find Orbx terrain files

I get the feeling this will have been asked before but I am not computer savvy enough to recognise the problem, so apologies if its old news.

I've just bought, downloaded and extracted Southern GB for X Plane

The files have been verified and it thinks Its installed.

Xplane, however, gives an error message saying it cannot find terrain files as soon as it starts to look for them. XPlane then quits

After installation I've got 26GB of 240G free on an SSD C drive - and a 2TB "D" drive that I have no idea how to use (or what it does).

Please could someone help?

Welcome. I think it is a problem of free disk space available on the disk drives you are trying to download to and install onto. You are going to need at least 90GB of free space  to download onto.

You need to read this link fully and even if you are not tech savvy, you should be able to follow the requirements.

I need you to attach your XPlane Log txt file. This will be in your XPlane directory folder as shown in my 1st pic. Drag it into the area I show in my 2nd pic.
