pluckas
Curious to know if anyone else is experiencing a ~ 10 fps drop with FTX Germany South enabled versus disabled via the scenery manager. Not sure I saw such a hit in P3D v4. My v5 install is vanilla, on a new SSD with no scenery add-ons except for Orbx and EDDN (21 Palms). Might just be me, but seems worth asking. On the whole P3D v5 is much smoother with higher frame rates and graphics quality on my system, though a little temperamental at this early stage. Senchay
There was the same hit for me always, what is no wonder when it has a lot more mesh, elevation and autogen/Gen Details. You can turn of many things in the GES configurator.aybe that helps
pezi
I don't have these problems. By me Germany South is running very good, especially over Munich with it's very much autogen and objects. Peter
Senchay
I dont think he has problems ^^ At least i dont have problems. What i meant was that there is a fps loss compared to "no GES". And that this loss is actually expected and normal. It runs well for me too.
Micko
It certainly depends on hardware and sim settings. If I would run at unlimited fps, definitely would see a drop in heavy areas. I've set a limit at 30 fps and don't have issues in Germany North / South.
