True Earth Washington HD X-plane Scenery errors

Just bought a new external 8TB drive and uninstalled all my Orbx True Earth products and have had to re-install all my True Earth scenery.....GB...Florida...North Cal and Washington HD + Enhancement pack. After various install, un-install, re-install ,ad file verifications over the past 5 days I have managed to get them all working except Washington which keeps coming up with the following erros whatever I do.

 

I have no problem with temp and Backup space as I have allowed 500GB in an internal 2TB drive

 

There was a problem loading the scenery package:Custom Scenery/Orbx_OrbxlibsXP/

The scenery may not look correct

 

and

 

Some scenery textures could not be loaded.

This may be an instillation problem or you may have a damaged add-on scenery package.

Are you installing into 11.50 or 11.40/41? Where are you installing the addon to, XP or a created library?

Is your Temp folder on C drive, if so how much free space have you got on that C drive? You need at least 100Gb free space on the drive that houses your Temp folder. Open Orbx central/settings/downloader and it will show where your Temp drive is. It will also show if you have a backup copy. If so delete the backup as it may be corrupted. Also Clear the Temp folder. All these actions are illustrated in the attached pic below.

I need to wait for your answers before I can suggest any further action. Probably an uninstall and reinstall is best but we need to make sure we have everything in order prior to doing that,.

The initial error messages about missing dds ortho files in TE Washington indicates an incomplete conversion process of jpg to dds format imagery.

The additional messages about missing sea-tac files are because you don't have the files in this link:

As you can see from my original post I have allocated 500GB for the backup file on an internal drive with over 1TB free space.

 

I have no problem with temp and Backup space as I have allowed 500GB in an internal 2TB drive

 

My scenery library is set up on the  new 8TB external drive purchased to store future Orbx products, not on the X-plane Directory which is on a 1TB dedicated nvme m.2 drive.

 

I agree with you that it is probably corrupted installation files as during this time of lockdown and extreme internet use I had a hell of a time downloading the scenery even over a 60mbps connection.

 

I had to make several attempts at the rest of the scenery too.

 

After posting the issue and prior to your reply, I went and cleared the backups and temp folders and tried once more.........great minds think alike!

 

I can now report that I have sorted out the problem with both the True Earth US Washington HD & Enhancement packs....Hoorah!

 

BUT, no matter how many times I attempt to install The Israel's Farm Airport add-on it causes the same error below during any Washington Airport load.

 

There was a problem loading the scenery package:Custom Scenery/Orbx_OrbxlibsXP/

The scenery may not look correct

 

I take it out and no issues, so will probably have to live without it. I have installed it to both the X-plane root drive and to my Library.

Is this an installation into XP 11.50? The error message regarding OrbxLibsXP is a standard error message in 11.50, but I am unaware of it in 11.40/41. If it is in 11.50 then just ignore it as it doesn't affect the addon.
