Nick Cooper
Hello, welcome to the forums. So far, this seems to be caused by attempting to install a product while the simulator is still running. Please visit your Task Manager and make absolutely sure that it is not. Another way to test, is to try to rename the root folder. Windows will not allow renaming if there are files in use inside a folder.

Nick Cooper
Hello, do not rename anything. However, if you wish to sure that P3D is definitely not running and that nothing else is active in its folder, you can select rename, add one character to the name and see if Windows will accept it. If it does, then you know that the folder is not in use but you will then need to do the same again and remove the character. It is a test.
