EGNM Jetway issue?

Recommended Posts

Default SODE jetway is showing at stand 7/8 not the one from the screenshots? How do I get the one like in the promo pictures?

No other scenery for EGNM

The Sode files are all installed into programdata/12B with the associated xmls etc

Looks like you've got someone else's airport installed there.

UK2000 perhaps?

Greg

Definitely no other airport installed, its ORBX EGNM

Without Orbx EGNM it looks like this:

Ive reinstalled Orbx EGNM multiple times and still getting the same thing

My only issue is the jetwey portion of the scenery isnt displaying correctly

Hi,

Can you show me what the contents of your 'C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\xml' and 'C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE\SimObjects' folders looks like?

EDIT: It looks like GSX maybe trying to substitue it's own jetway model in place of the correct one. I don't use GSX but I can see there's an option there that says "Don't create jetways" - perhaps that's the ticket?

Hello Liam,

SODE should be placing the two jetways regardless of the airport that is loaded.

Please ensure that SODE is both correctly installed and registered.

Latest SODE is installed and registered

Im not sure what the issue is, but for what ever reason the correct jetway models are not showing

Do you think it might be worth reinstalling SODE, if you have not already?

That I have tried,

There is also another user with this issue as seen in this video he posted so I am not alone with this

Its like something is missing to tell the sim to load the files for the jetway

This is whats in my SODE_EGNM_Jetways.xml

<SODE>
    <Stand AfcadICAO="EGNM" AfcadGateName="GATE" AfcadParkingNumber="7">
            <!-- StandLocation;48.30719690769911;-114.25408378243448;125.4815216064453;23.0-->

        <SimObject Name="Jetway 1 GATE 3">

            <Model SimTitle="EGNM_Jetway1" StaticSimTitle="EGNM_Jetway_Static1">
                <Jetway InitialState="50;60;70;30"/>
            </Model>
        </SimObject>
    </Stand>
    <Stand AfcadICAO="EGNM" AfcadGateName="GATE" AfcadParkingNumber="8">
            <!-- StandLocation;48.30753084272146;-114.25372928380965;125.4815216064453;23.0-->

        <SimObject Name="Jetway 1 GATE 2">
            <TargetSim ID="P3Dv4"/>
            <Placement Lat="53.868912" Lon="-1.658707" Alt="0.0#AGL" Hdg="272.0984"/>
            <Model SimTitle="EGNM_Jetway2" StaticSimTitle="EGNM_Jetway_Static2">
                <Jetway InitialState="0;65;50;0"/>
            </Model>
        </SimObject>
    </Stand>
</SODE>

Is that how it should look?

Initially repaired the SODE install. Removed everything and it seems to be working so thank you both of you for your help. :)

I'm glad you got it working!

I just grabbed GSX to see if I could resolve the issue - and it's pretty much nuked my setup! But that's a tomorrow problem!

My thinking with your issue is that another jetway simobject existed with the same name as ORBX EGNM calls. That may still be the case so once I get GSX happening properly I'll investigate it properly.
