resolved Skagit KBVS airport elevation issue for XP11.... please help!!!

Hello,

 

I am having elevation issues for Skagit Airport for XP11. I have tried everything but can't get it to work.

There are 3 airports near. One is Skagit, other is global airports and 3rd is Washington true earth airports.

If I remove global airports and TE Washington airports and try then I see elevation issues just beyond the airport.

 

This is truly frustrating me as I am trying to resolve elevation issues rather than flying. 

 

PLEASE HELP!!! Had anyone faced the same elevation issues? What should be the order of airports? 

Also as troubleshooting steps I have opened the orbx Central and gone to help section and synced the Sim.

But still the same problem persists.

@AmsYour scenery_packs.ini needs rearranging so please attach a copy of it rather than a pic, and I will adjust it.

Regarding the elevation problem, I need a pic of that as well so I can see where you are referring to and to test my copy.

 First of all though make sure you have "Runways follow terrain contours enabled" in your XP General options settings and report back.

Runways follow terrain contours enabled did it and now it's working fine. Elevation issues are gone. Thanks for your support! I did not know that terrain contours would make such a difference.

Good news. Yes that setting can have quite an impact on some airport scenery elevations.
