FlyingGator
After updating my Netherlands Scenery yesterday, I received this error message from P3D while flying over the area. The program locked up totally. (see attached screendump) I have deleted the two towers files and did not see that message again, may be no TV towers around ... I also noticed the scenery is very blurred now, synchronizing as stated in the help text sometimes helps. I did no see any blurring before the update. Before the update I did not see any file errors with this scenery I don't know if these two problems are related. I did not try to reinstall the whole Netherlands package again, since it takes hours, I guessed I needed to report it first. All in all, I wish I had not updated... I run P3D V4.3 on Windows 10 I used the new ORBX Central to install the update (75 Gb in total) I have most ORBX scenery packages installed and had no problems the last two years. Nick Cooper
Hello, typically, one does not see this type of message unless changes to file structures are made while the simulator(s) are running. However, they are normally mitigated by deleting the scenery.dat files and letting P3D rebuild them. They can be found at C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SceneryIndexes_x64 and the SceneryIndexes_x64 folder can be safely deleted.
