Wondering how the HD and SD versions differ in terms of computer annihilation from the UK packs I already have? I'm running XPlane11 on iMac 4.2GHz Intel Qual Core i7 16Ghz RAM Radeon Pro 580 8GB. The UK packs run OK from an external SSD especially if you loose the aircraft from the main screen. If you buy the US HD pack do you also get the SD version? Would be nice touch. Jon Clarke Posted December 18, 2019 Share Posted December 18, 2019 If you buy the HD version you get the SD version free. If you buy the SD version there is small charge for the HD version. HD versions are at ZL17 and the SD version at ZL16. The Custom and Overlay files are the same, only the imagery is slightly more enhanced in the HD version. The HD versions need over 200Gb of free space while the SD versions are under 90GB installed. You can only have one version installed at a time. Most is explained at the Orbx Direct site under the individual product details section. TE Washington and Oregon are in the end of year sale. NorCal is not as it is a new release.
