Hi,

 

Purchased Orbx TE Great Britain Central, North and South a few days ago.

Tried to install GB Central and wanted to apply the update when I got this message:

 

 

Also get this message when trying to Verify Files.  I have purchased TE GB directly from the ORBX website and do not have an account with FSS.  How can I get this license in my Ortbx Direct account?

Already followed the guidelines to uninstall and reinstall FTX Central.  No help.

 

For the moment I am stuck with the installation.

Could someone please help me out?

the answer is written in the last section of the error message for you.

Please add the Orbx Libraries to your account and then install them with FTX Central.

I did not go for the last option since TE GB is not freeware.  Maybe the instructions should be written more clearly.

 

Right now I am downloading TE GB South and therefore cannot verify if this has worked.  Will advise.

in your screen shot, you are not trying to install True Earth Great Britain

but the X Plane 11 Orbx Libraries.

 

These are indeed freeware but, as outlined in the error message, Orbx Direct

requires that the customer first adds freeware items to the customer's account

before the freeware can be installed using FTX Central.
