mauricecohen
Are these white sections of I-5 in Seattle intentional? I drive from Sea-Tac to Seattle whenever I visit my daughter there and I do not recall seeing this
Tony Wroblewski
No, it looks like a strange bug to me (possibly a library conflict with TE England if you have that installed) Noted as a bug
Gulfstreamtwo
While the contrast is perhaps a pit overstated, that's what it looks like from the air as seen in the Google Earth picture below (North is left). You don't tend to see it while driving because you're distracted by all the crazies and the wacko drivers in this state. Washington Department of Transportation had to replace several sections of damaged I-5 pavement in this area a couple of years ago and the newer concrete stands out (is lighter) than the older road surface. Tony Wroblewski
Aware of this bug thanks, it seems to be conflicting with TE England if you have that installed.

No, I do not have TE England; it must conflict with something else in the minimal XP installation (which I use to troubleshoot).
